Edit labels

When scanning an unknown label, you have the option to add information to the label. You can enter text or create an audio recording. To create a voice recording, the Record button must be selected and held down throughout the recording. Releasing the button ends recording.

Allow access to the microphone #

To create voice recordings, the app requires access to your device’s microphone. When you edit for the first time, a message opens asking you to grant this permission. Select the OK button here if you want to create sound recordings.

You can revoke your permission or grant permission again at any time in the data protection settings in the “Settings” app.

Edit existing labels #

The information stored can also be edited later. To achieve this, select the Edit button (pen icon) in the upper-right corner of the respective detailed view, which you can access via the scanner or the Labels tab.
